Die Funktionen des Programms entsprechen weitestgehend dem mobilen HTML-Terminal mit dem Unterschied, dass die Buchungen auch offline gespeichert werden können, wenn momentan keine Verbindung zum Mobilfunk-Netz besteht.Für NovaTime muss lediglich die Option „Terminal App“ lizenziert sein (Option).Als Buchungstasten stehen „Kommen“, „Gehen“ und „Dienstgänge“ zur Verfügung.
Des weiteren existieren fünf frei definierbare Funktionstasten.
Diese können für zusätzliche Buchungen (z.B.
Gleitzeit ab morgen, heute Schule, Bereitschaft, Pause) oder Kontenabfragen genutzt werden (z.B.
Saldo, Urlaubskonten, Lohnarten).Besteht für die App eine Online-Verbindung, sind die Abfragen und Buchungen in Echtzeit möglich.
Als Buchungsuhrzeit wird die Uhrzeit des Servers herangezogen (Einstellung), unabhängig von der Uhrzeit des Clients.
Sollen auch offline-Buchungen gespeichert werden (Funkloch), wird die Smartphone-Zeit herangezogen (Einstellung).Die Identifikation des Mitarbeiters ist individuell einstellbar.
Zur Verfügung stehen Ausweisnummer, Personalnummer oder Name.
Als Passwortabfrage gibt es die Möglichkeiten „Passwort“ oder „PIN-Code“.
Letztere ist nur mit der Option „Zutrittskontrolle“ möglich.
Des weiteren steht optional ein Mehrfachbenutzer-Modus zur Verfügung.
Damit kann z.B.
ein Vorarbeiter für seine unterstellten Mitarbeiter an dem Smartphone Buchungen tätigen.Ist die Option „Kostenstellen“ vorhanden, können Kostenstellen-Wechsel über die App gebucht werden (Einstellung).*** The app requires the higher-level software NovaTime to run.
